The intitial step in the site implementation of ACT2˛ for the user is to declare their various pre-press production requirements using Hence EDP's Tables Management Utilities. The Utilities define the various products, their necessary compositional requirements, and enable for capture in the ACT2˛ database scheme. The actual ultimate "captured" product, requires only an ITEM and a FONT to be declared. However, many of the other utilities will be found as beneficial as they will increase a sites ability to capture more complex jobs while reducing the amount of operator intellegence necassary to perform the tasks. The "printed" product will require and ITEM and FONT and a PLATE. Use the links to the left to guide you to the various utilities descriptions.
