Hence EDP's primary products are ACT2˛ and the ACT2˛ Internet Deployment Kit. In addition to these two systems we can provide custom solutions involving integration of ACT2˛ or the ACT2˛IDK into a custom solution with a client's special requirements or we will entertain a total custom solution.
A typical ACT2˛ installed site may support any number of workstations so that an organization's Entry, Customer Service and Production personnel may all access orders and status of a common database that is located on a central file server. This provides these sites unlimited expansion without a need for additional licensing.
ACT2˛ is comprised of various programs to support the activity necessary to create printing plates.
The ACT2˛IDK is a NT service program that resides on a server and may be used to introduce orders to the database from the internet. In addition, the IDK will provide the ability for the composition of any job, returning the resultant proof to the browser. A very powerful interactive internet composition may be obtained using this technique and these products provided by Hence.
